Lake Street District

 

The Lake Street neighborhood is bounded by the Presidio of San Francisco to the north (including Mountain Lake Park and the Presidio Golf Course), Presidio Heights to the east (Arguello Boulevard), the Inner Richmond to the south (California Street), and Sea Cliff to the west (27th Avenue). With wider streets great for cycling and close proximity to the North Beach communities, Lake Street offers large and traditional San Franciscan homes including many grand Edwardians, Victorians, and Queen Anne’s. The Lake Street neighborhood provides easy access to retail and dining on Geary and Clement streets in Richmond.

West Clay Street is a standout enclave within the Lake Street District with a similar planned gate without a gated enclave feel as Presidio Terrace in the Presidio Heights neighborhood section. Homes on West Clay tend to have larger lots, higher square footage, and the most desirable views in the area.
